private yacht trip from Florida to the bahamas

Private yacht outing for the owner, to the Bahamas
60 Monte Carlo yacht

My first day, meeting the current crew on board, and the guests in Florida, Delray Beach.  I was first greeted by the the crew I hired, escorted the stewardess at the marina to the vessel.  The guests were friends and family of the owner, with my assistance with getting the vessel ready for the trip to the Bahamas.  I performed safety checks, mostly in the engine room and mechanical items, before assisting with the guests and in preparation for their safety familiarization for the itinerary.
Voyage Planning and trip preparation

Voyage planning and reviewing my notes, itineraries, routes , nav. charts and the electronic nav. system.
It was so nice to place my navigation chart program next to the present chart displays and see my program was very much in depth in detail and aided in the systems of navigation. Although I am familiar with the route out of Boca Raton inlet out to sea, I usually bring my electronic chart display, as a good extra reference, to complement the onboard navigation.
Sometimes gives more in depth details to the route.
I plotted a steady course and various waypoints to come around some scenic areas and while making for a prudent course.

out to sea from Miami.  We made an unscheduled stop, and was more scenic to proceed out of Miami. We were in no rush to get to the Bahamas, the yachting itinerary is a part of the experience.

Arriving into the Bahamas on a nice evening, with a beautiful sky. Always a pleasure to see a great sunset sky.  It was a smooth trip with favorable seas.

Covered more than 220 nm  the trip took more than 4 days with light seas and swell on the Monte Carlo yacht.  Arrival at Bimini first, Alice Town.  I cleared customs at Marina Landing, and it was smooth and the owner decided to be a part of the clearance process, and assisted.  It made for a smoother process.
Spending two days at the bay and anchorage the vessel was in various beautiful places for the guests to enjoy the waters and snorkeling.  Their first request was at 'Sapona' wreck and it was a sight to see and exhibit,  the snorkeling experience provided for the adventure and expedition.    Anchorage at the clear waters was very smooth and there were not many vessels there, considering it was a Saturday..  About 20 nautical miles south of Bimini to Honeymoon Cay, an open vast clear blue sky was in view with the tropical blue waters.  I used discernment to a good anchor spot with no current and an optimal area for snorkeling and swimming.  Anchorage at the clear waters was very smooth.
